Does ChargeGuard slow down charging?

No. ChargeGuard does not affect charging speed. Power delivery functions normally.

Does ChargeGuard work with modern iPhones?

Yes. ChargeGuard includes a USB-C data blocker designed for iPhone 15 and newer models. Older iPhones work with the USB-A data blocker when used with a standard Lightning cable.

Does ChargeGuard work with Android devices?

Yes. ChargeGuard works with Android phones and tablets that charge via USB-A or USB-C.

Does it work with laptops and tablets?

Yes. ChargeGuard works with devices such as MacBooks, iPads, and other USB-charged laptops when used for charging.

Does ChargeGuard protect wireless charging?

No. ChargeGuard protects USB charging only. Wireless charging does not involve USB data transfer.

Can data still pass through ChargeGuard?

No. ChargeGuard physically blocks USB data pins, preventing any data transmission.

Does ChargeGuard require software or an app?

No. ChargeGuard is a passive hardware device. It requires no apps, software, permissions, or configuration.

Is ChargeGuard safe and legal to use?

Yes. ChargeGuard complies with USB standards and functions as a charge-only adapter. It is safe and legal to use.

When should I use ChargeGuard?
